Doug,

If you place a redirection page into directory /book/ called index.html,
then your URL would be http://www.simplegiftsfarm.com/book/ 

The redirection page would send the visitor to your long URL.

How to make a redirection page is a bit long for an email, but you can find
exact, simple instructions in the August 17, 1999 issue of WillMaster
Possibilities, called "Short URLs and Redirection Without CGI". The issue
is linked from http://www.willmaster.com/possibilities/archives/
