[epub] AddMe Newsletter - How Accurate?

Hi,

I was just looking at the AddMe Newsletter.
They claim to have 220,000 subscribers, yet
they have only been publishing for a year.

Jim Wilson of VirtualPromote has 250,000
subscribers. But he's been publishing for
3 years and has had major publicity for
his zine. (Well Earned I Might Add)


So, while Jim's circulation is easily 
believable, AddMe is a bit suspect at
first site.


I'm not saying they're "exagerating".
Just that it is a bit strange. How
did they build that huge in such a
short time?  I must be missing 
something here.


They do have some very big advertisers 
to their credit.
