Re: [epub] Taking over a newsletter
From: TWILLMONEY@aol.com

Hello Dave,

As an owner of a newsletter, I feel you are very
justified in your methods that you are using.

If only other newsletter knew the importance
of the subscriber having the option of leaving
their subscriber list.

If anyone would like to take a look at what I
have incorporated in the newsletter that I
am revamping, feel free to get some ideas.

Not only can my subscribers send an email
to be removed, I have also added a removal
page on the website. I would really like to
know the reasons why I am losing the subscriber
and I feel this is a very good way of doing
it.

For the people who can not take criticism, I
would not suggest adding this method to
your website. You may get comments that
you really don't like.

I also send out Solo Ads and a separate
classified ad list alone. I have incorporated
the option of getting the newsletter only
or receiving all issues of the newsletters.

I found that some subscribers didn't want
to be bombarded with advertisements, so
with the new website I am designing, I am
giving the subscriber what they want. In
turn, I keep my subscriber, hopefully make
some money and get wonderful raves about
my newsletter!

Please be understanding that this website
is still under construction. This information
will give you an idea of what I am doing with
my website, dedicated to the subscribers.

To view the removal page:

To view how my subscribers have an option
on how they want to receive the newsletter:

The forms are not working, yet, so please
do not try to fill them out.

The grand opening on this site will be
November 1, 1999 under the domain
name of (www.topbiznews.com)

(Our newsletter is the one that started the
Co-op Program that we advertised on this
list!)

You can view that page at:
http://216.206.127.74/~topbiz/thankyou.html

All of these changes are taking place as of the
first of November and my subscribers are waiting
patiently. With their feedback, I have a very
professional newsletter and a website. I must
state that you must first remember that your
subscribers are your "customers" even if they
do not pay you anything!

You will benefit from your subscribers in the
long haul. Happy customers mean Happy
Money in the Bank!
