Hi Evonne;

May God Bless you as well Evonne, thank you!

I will be glad to list my domains if it is not off
topic. Please remember that even though I have 17
domains, not all of them produce income directly.
And some at this time I won't list for business
reasons until they are put into use. Through work,
dedication, and blessings from above, we generate
in excess of $20,000 a month, every month after 3
years of online effort. I guess I'm successful?

Money alone doesn't denote success, being able to
work at home, be with my family AND pay my bills
is success for me, plus being totally debt free
except for a 3 year house mortgage left. No I'm
not 65 either, only 48.

Most of this came in the last 7 months by
finding a niche product and applying what I have learned
online through lists such as this and newsletters and
hard core trial and error. One of the reasons for some
of the domains, error.... grin. One word to the newbies
BE TARGETED, whether it is marketing or a newsletter. Some
of you know me from PROMOTE! or Ezine-Swap which I sold,
again I was spread too thin, thus I sold them, to some
great people I might add....grin....

Several are domains that I have reserved for future
projects that are just sitting, such as nextresponse.com.
Which if I do extend services and start hosting, will be
the home domain of the hosting service, which will also
offer free automated responders, of which I have already
bought the responder system for this as well. One of the
reasons I haven't set this up yet is for the very reason
of fear of abuse by a user, and getting the domain shut
down through no fault of my own. If I own the server then
I have control and can fairly decide if they abused it.

Some are related, some are not, some feed another domain.
One is a mirror and backup site for emergencies.
Some are dormant and though have resources, I currently
don't have the time to use them as I should. I guess this
post is a bearing of the soul....grin... and will be lengthy,
but perhaps some of the newer persons may reap something from
this, if Brian allows it to go through. A brief explanation
follows the domain listing of my use of some of the domains.

Domains:
http://www.audiowhiz.com (most successful)
http://www.mcsetape.com (mirror site)
http://www.mcsetapes.com (feeds audiowhiz)
http://www.mcsetests.com " " " "
http://www.audiolearning.com (feeds audiowhiz)
http://www.examsearch.com (New Search engine site
for tests, exams, certification & study resources
which of course has audiowhiz listed!)

http://www.audio-learning.com (not in use -
future use audio-tech related)

http://www.cramsheet.com (future use - study cram sheets
for IT certification tests and resources. Again a feed site.)

http://www.budgetware.com (original home site -
Tech Newsletters also feeds audiowhiz)

http://www.promotefree.com (very active with visitors
and affiliate income streams)

http://www.mail-co.com
http://www.cybergnome.com (New)
http://www.music-city-usa.com (dormant)
http://www.nextresponse.com (Current Project-Hosting
for all of my domains for the in house server.)

I have several others I won't list for now, plus 2 new
ones I'm registering today, so the count is even more
than 17.

Many may ask why so many domains? Some were mistakes,
created on a hunch, whelm or whatever you would like to
call it. Others which feed the main site provide more leads
and sales than the cost of the $35.00 a year Internic fee,
and the hosting fee for an additional domain, $2.00 a month
depending upon your host and service plan. Also the feeds
will grow as I add more free content to each one, but always
point the visitors discreetly to the ecommerce site. One site
I have sends 30 visitors a day to the main site through its
position in the search engines which is enhanced by the domain
name itself, yet it still gives the visitors content. I get a
sale a day from this site, some sales are $100.00. Do the math
versus the $59.00 total a year fees for the domain. Beats the
heck out of banners.

Am I spamming the search engines? No, I give new persons in the
certification field a list of the premier sites that are
outstanding in their field and a quick way to get there.
Some of these will eventually be premier sites themselves due
to the content as I build them and they feed off each other.

In closing let me again state to the newer publishers/marketers
to be targeted, don't do as I did and spread yourself thin, even
though for me it has been a blessing in disguise. FIND THAT NICHE
that you know and enjoy and cultivate it. Success will come quicker.

Thanks, sorry for the long post since I lurk mostly...grin...;

Gary
