CYA is good. Keeping a file is good too. however the press release info is 
there for the using. I have written and used PR info. PR info doesn't have as 
stringent rules as other copy, because it is usually provided for by the 
company. It has a slant, therefore CYA, but as for requesting use, that is 
what it is there for, don't need to waste your time.
