[epub] Mailing Limitations by Web Hosts?

Hi All, 

It's been a while since I've posted but I have a question for
other publishers.  I know that some of you use lists like 
One-List, ListBot, etc. and some send  your list out yourself.

To the folks who send the list themselves,  do you use your
domain to mail the newsletters or your local ISP?

I have been mailing my newsletter through my domain with
an email client that can personalize the message and
all of a sudden I can only get 10 to 12 newsletters out at 
a time.  I have been sending my newsletter out for over a
year now and until the last two weeks have had no 
problem.  When I advised the my hosting company I 
received the following answer.

Now, I agree with security to protect against spamming, but
this host states a gig a day can be used and I haven't come
close.  I also advised them this had changed in the last two 
weeks yet that is not addressed.  Do you feel sometimes 
that no one is listening to or reading your questions or
complaints?

Is anyone else have similar problems - any suggestions?
I realize the obvious - change hosts.
