LOL, perhaps my subby's are like me then... NOISEY ;)
Sometimes I am wary of asking mine anything as I gets swamped with
answers etc.
Maybe also it's cos a LARGE percentage of mine are downline to me in
something somewhere, so I already have a 2-way conversation-type
relationship with them.

Having read your ezine, I like your style.
It's *chatty* but still fairley formal(ish)... if that makes sense.
(I liked the bit about *recieved email* autoresponders & safelists *G*)

Maybe, as mine is raucos, totally informal & has the disclaimers
*I reserve the right to poke fun if I feel like it*
AND
*Send me your feedback on how to improve this ezine, but i might not
take any notice*
it encourages more responses?????

I also know that if I were to run a survey in a formal way, I'd get
zilch. I use *wind-up* type *subject lines* for replies, like when
I gave them the option of voting for a separate solos list or
getting solos sent to the main list.
choices were
*same list*, *separate list* or *do_what_ya_want_cos_ya_will_do_anyhow*
Guess which one outnumbered the other 2 combined by 20:1

ok, off the wall somewhat, BUT i get feedback when i ask & when I
dont....LOL

Style of writing or presentation is different for everyone I spose.
I can only say what works for me.
& as always am the 1st to admit that with mine you either love it or
hate it.
No room from grey there, & that suits me :)
Kindasorta like the *Howard Stern / good morning Veit-nam* of bis-ops
ezines..LMAO
(Now I wonders if I could get him to endorse it...)

Back under my rock.
