From: David Carter <david@emgroup.com>
Hi Mani
>>Your zine should concentrate on reaching the most targeted prospects you
are addressing. There isn't much use in attracting the tire-kickers who
won't ever become customers or loyal readers. <<
An excellent point which really got me thinking. Unlike most people on this
list, I didn't launch my ezine myself, I took it over from two friends of mine.
I can't help but think that some - perhaps a large number - of the
subscribers I have inherited would fall under the description of
"tire-kickers". And although, like anyone, I don't like losing subscribers,
I must admit that it's crossed my mind that perhaps I should "encourage"
any tire-kickers like this to unsubscribe, like you say they are unlikely
to become customers or loyal subscribers.
You've certainly given me some food for thought, thank you.
David
