A horrendous (spelling?) idea!  If you want more subs just do ad swaps with 
others.  Most folks are willing.  A few try to charge you for the privilige, 
but I usually avoid those folks.  

There are tons of announcement lists to use.  If you are around long enough 
you will have folks approaching you asking to post your list description on 
their websites.  We have been asked by several folks about this recently.  Of 
course we agreed after checking out the sites, as it is wonderful free 
advertising.

We always ask permission of the poster if we would like to pass their 
postings onward to someone else.  In four and a half years of publishing, I 
have never had anyone turn us down.
