Hi David, 

It upsets me to see the word 'stupid' so many times in 
this, and other, discussion groups, in regards to a 
question. 

The only stupid question is the question you don't ask.

That being said....

I have only come across two online newsletters, in all 
MY time online, that are charging subscribers to recieve
their publication. 

I, of course, would never consider it. Subscribing, I 
mean. Why, when there are so many others that are free? 

I don't like to see all of the places selling what we 
can get for free on the web. Sometimes I wonder if they're 
just praying on newbies who don't know about all the freebies. 

Most e-zine publishers do sell ads in their publications 
to make money, but the most successful publishers are the 
ones who offer GOOD content, and build up credibility. They, 
then, offer their products and services to their subscribers, 
many of whom will become lifetime customers. 

THAT is where the effort to publish pays off.
