Here's some info on 2 new ways you can make your ezine
biz model more profitable...

#1 I was just at the NPA (Newsletter Publishers
Association -- http://www.newsletters.org) electronic
publishing show in New York earlier this week.  

Lots of the mainly traditional for-fee print
newsletter publishers there are wondering how they can
partner with you e-zine folks to make money.   I
suggested they contact you guys to purchase ads and do
partnerships to grow their own opt-in lists and sell
their for-fee content.

They are especially interested in working with niche
b-to-b publications (healthcare, international
business, finance, law, etc.) and with large consumer
epubs (health and investment mostly.)  

As an epub and NPA member, I'd be glad to pass on
anyone's name and contact info who would like to sell
ads to these publishers - so send me an email
(annehillsholland@hotmail.com) and I'll post it to the
NPA ListServ on your behalf.

#2  ALSO, you might consider making extra money by
selling your best-of content via Fatbrain.com's
eMatter store. (Full disclosure: I've just been hired
as a consultant for eMatter, helping them find great
expert content to sell on their store.)

They are looking for experts with great white papers,
special reports, in-depth articles, compiled "Best Of"
articles (especially "how-to" stuff), etc. to publish
and sell these things via the Fatbrain.com eMatter
