Though my own ezine is free, paid subscriptions is not a model I 
would completely rule out. It can be done as has been proved.

I can imagine busy executives, for example, as being one group that 
would be willing to pay for guaranteed quality, rather than having to 
sift through hundreds of publications for the really good stuff they 
want, and ending up paying more in wasted time.

I think it's like anything else. If you've got the money but you're 
short on time, you'll more than likely be willing to spend some of 
the resource you have in plenty, in order to conserve more of that 
which is in precious short supply.
