Hi Ray,

I studied the eMatter site for quite a long time a few weeks ago, and from
what I gathered, they did not use PDF files.  Because if they did, of
course, Mac people could certainly read them.  I can't remember the exact
wording, but the site said something like "Software for use on Mac
computers has not been developed yet.  But we're working on it."

A friend of mine who uses PDF all the time said it had something to do with
their encryption methods.  They haven't finished the software to have the
PDF files for the Macs encrypted.

That's the reason I dismissed using them.  Probably 3/4 of my customers use
Macs.  If they've changed their policy, I'll reconsider using them.

Of course, all this could have changed in the last few weeks--even the last
few days.
