Why never? Subscribing to a newsletter in a market sector where there are 
plenty around for free does seem pointless. But what if you want information 
that changes regularly, is not widely available and has a high value? Would 
you 'never consider' subscribing, even if it was the only way to get what you 
needed?

One area that immediately springs to mind is investment newsletters. Most of 
these are subscription based because of the potentially high return on the 
cover price. Is it wrong for people to charge for such valuable information 
when there is clearly a market for it?

I am very interested in comments from the list as this is an area I have been 
asked to move into in the next 3 or 4 months!
