[epub] Guaranteed Minimum of 100 subscribers a month??

I help publish a monthly ezine.   I signed up with Best
Newsletters on Oct. 20, 1999.  We have gotten new
subscribers each month, although December has been *very*
slow.

Yes, it's true--if you don't get at least 100 new
subscribers each month, you don't have to pay for that
month.  The counter is reset to zero each month.  If we got
100 new subscribers from them in one month, I'd gladly fork
over $15  ;-) because our audience is a very small-niche
group (not business related).  So far we have paid only the
$15 fee to sign up.  Those of you with wide interest
newsletter topics should have bigger numbers of subscribers.

I believe the addresses are genuine opt-in.  In fact, they
now have a confirmation system in place so  pranksters
can't sign up people without their knowledge (which
happened a couple of times in the beginning).

The only disadvantage I see with this service is that people
must decide the merits of your ezine based only on the blurb
you provide.  There is no link to your site for more
information, to see archives, etc.

I'm a happy Best Newsletters customer.  Hope this helps.  I
