A friend who works for an ISP says that **all** providers of Internet
hosting have problems. Some just have more problems.;-)

If you are ranked #3, the only move is to #2 or #1. ;-)

I should also report that I'm using a small programme called Worldmerge
(www.coloradosoft.com) for sending out two database related mailings. Works
fine for these small mailings and handles press releases of several
thousand with no problem. (no affiliation with the company) I'm quite happy
with it - easy enough to use that I didn't need a manual to learn how to
run it. Up and running and sending stuff out in 5 minutes. 

Majordomo is running my 4000 subscriber newsletter on my own isp. Its a
pain to do the updates of subscribers moving etc. but other than that works
fine. I'm tempted to try a mailing in the new year using the worldmerge
programme - its supposed to be able to take the strain.
