I had the same problem ... about 2 - 3 bounces
a day on average, then all of a sudden I lost
300 subscribers in the space of 2 days. It
was pretty frightening, I can tell you.

I emailed Listbot and eventually got what appeared
to be a "canned reply" ...

OK, Listbot ... but 300 in the space of 2 days?
Needless to say I've been watching my
unsubscribes very carefully now, and it seems
to be back to average figures. But I'd sure
as hell like to know what was going on behind
the scenes during those three days.

It's quite worrying if Listbot automatically
remove an address after just a few bounces.
What if ... to take a worst case scenario, a
whole ISP were to go down for two days?
Does that mean every address going
to that ISP would be automatically removed?

Scary or what!

The only way we can change this is to
keep complaining to Listbot ... hopefully
they'll "review" their bounce procedures.
