This is just a quick note to let you know that http://www.remarq.com
has
started archiving my newsletter without my approval. They are in
essence,
hijacking it as content for their own site.

You may want to check them out to see if your newsletter is there and
if
you want it to be. (I'm sure they'd gladly add any)

I did a search of Homefires there.  I own both my ezine, Homefires
Hearth and its sister chatty list, Homefires.  They showed up as Home
Makers Hearth and Home Makers, both with the 1st lines of the list
description taken directly from my lists!  I then looked under
Christmoms, one of my other lists, and it came up with Christ Moms.

Then I noticed a message from ONElist:
This is an automated email message to let you know that
Q_1001167_hansful4@lists.remarq.com joined your Homefires_Hearth
community.

I am totally in shock!  Anyone can join these lists and circumvent
ONElist!  My lists are NOT message boards and Christmoms is a private
restricted list and I never ever want our private issues aired on a
public forum.  I have taken great pains to make sure that our archives
are private and material stays within the list.

I am copying this letter to Kate at ONElist to see if something can be
done about this.  I've never given my permission for this.  BTW - even
AFTER unsubbing from their "message board", this addy remains on the
list and I'm having to manually remove it.
