Re: [epub] control over your list
From: "Ray Whiting" <rwhiting@bellsouth.net>

thank you... I'm becoming increasingly distrustful with the results of the
Onelist/e-Groups merger, and I've been threatening to go to Aureate Group
Mail. I don't do HTML newsletters anymore, and create everything in
TextPage, so the mechanics of it aren't real threatening to me. Do you use
the personalizing "feature" or do you bulkmail your newsletters (geez, I
HATE that -- "Dear Ray.... yadda yadda yadda, and you know, Ray, " yeah,
*right*... like it's really a personal newsletter just for me. I find it
condescending, patronizing and offensive, but maybe it's because I know how
easy things are "personalized" automatically.)

My biggest mental obstacle is figuring out how to get my subscriber list out
of onelist and into Aureate, and whether to set up a separate email address
for each newsletter (to use the subscribe feature better)

I'm glad you are happy with Group-Mail. I've not heard any complaints or
problems yet at all... if there are any out there, I'd really like to know
about it.
Thanks,
Ray Whiting
