Hi Diana.
I use that sort of thing all the time in my own ezine.
However, at first I would ask them, & also start introducing
a small, for want of a better word *disclaimer* saying that all
comments etc are by default, permission to use them..

It all depends on the relationship you build up with your
subscribers.
As your ezine is new, its a testing ground for both you & the
subbies.

However, with an off-the-wall publication like my own which is
part
bis-opsy & part crazy, my subbies actually expect to see names
mentioned.
It gives them a buzz to see their name & url or link in print.

I even go as far as actually christening certain subscribers with
nicknames every so often. this is NOT to say that you should do
similar stunts as I do, but to show you that depending on how
your relationship goes with your subscribers, what you can
actually
get away with.
But then again, I sposes I'm an extremist in some/most ways.

The best way to approach things is with a *suck it & see* what
happens
outlook. Its gonna be a verticle line learning curve for you. ;)

Hi Dejan.
I dont know about US ISSN #'s but I know that in the UK
any publication getting an ISSN is both free & the address
(snail not email) has to be based in the UK also.

Mine is registered via the British Library, but if you
have similar probs with the US ISSN#'s contact me off list
& we can discuss using a C/O address in the UK.
your call.
