Announce the change.
Then mail to both lists until you are sure that everyone has move to the new
list.
Multiple lists and web sites referring to your primary are used by many
netters, intentionally to cover possible misspelling etc.

I'm thinking of doing a minor name change to Homefires Hearth.
Currently it is listed as Homefires_Hearth at ONElist.  But our
website is www.homefireshearth.com as are our freebie email addies and
everything else!

We have 3400+ subscribers however, and I'm concerned about confusion.
One reason I want to change this is because of possible confusion
(someone might try to subscribe to
homefireshearth-subscribe@onelist.com instead of
Homefires_Hearth-subscribe@onelist.com).

Have any of you done name changes with big ezines?
