[epub] onelist?

Hi Everyone!
I've just set up my own discussion list on onelist, and sent a test msg to
myself, and I can't help noticing that it is sent in html, and with picture
attachments.
I've now logged in and changed my preference to plain text without pics, but
I have never had an epub email with pictures in html, and epub is on
onelist....
I have nothing against html (but aol users can't view it), and I don't want
pics, as it is annoying if you read your mail offline...
I had a look for this setting but I can't find it anywhere.
So, does anyone know how I can set it to send every email out in plain text?
Otherwise, every new subscriber to the list will get it in html with pics,
unless they set their personal setttings otherwise, won't they?
