Hi Mike!

I had the same trouble with Windows crashing with Eudora.  I switched to 
Pegasus for an email system and for smaller lists (up to about 2500 or so) 
it does great.  My list isn't anywhere near that large yet (I just started 
up in January), but so far, I haven't had any problems with it at all.

It's freeware and you can pick it up at ZDNET or CNET in their downloads 
sections.
