I don't go by pages when I compose my ezine. I write it using TextPad
(http://www.textpad.com/). I know that if you stick to roughly 2000 words
of plain text - your ezine will not go over that 20kb mark. Kb is simply a
file size - I am not technically minded and can't give more details on this :-)
If I want to know how large my ezine is, I can either right click in TextPad
and view properties to tell me how many words I've written OR I can 
discover the file size within My Documents (Win 98) which is where my 
ezines get saved. All I need to know, however, is that I write less than
2000 words. I don't know how you compose your ezine, but any good
text editor will give you a word count.
