Why not create your own opt-in mailing list?  That's what places like
eGroups.com or topica.com are for.  They aren't limited just to American
ezines.  I run Two Scoops through onelist.com.

I have subscribed on occasion to various newsletters/ezines off those long
lists of "Check off the newsletters you'd like to receive" opt-in lists.  My
understanding is that folks often tick off the ones that sound good, but end
up getting so many they either don't read them all or figure out that most
are pretty much the same, and promptly unsubscribe after a short time --
especially in the business-to-business arena.  That's what I did. Now I only
get the ones I want and find useful.
