[epub] Mailman program

Hi guys,

We occasionally get requests for programs for sending out 
newsletters here. Thought I'd tell you of my latest discovery: 
Mailman - an announcement/newsletter program.
Find it under cgi-programs at http://www.iwebsys.com/

This one is good if you:
Have a cgi-bin
Your list is growing from scratch - or you know how to telnet
The list won't get too big (under 1000)
You also use their program Ilink (free Yahoo like directory)
You need several small lists

What I like about the program is that it puts your subscriber's 
address in the to field. It also reports its progress until it's finished.

What I don't like about this and most other programs: Safety isn't 
really good enough. I actually expect this to change in this 
program, and it's better than many other I've seen. Still, be VERY 
careful about using cgi-scripts. One I investigated had a hole so big 
I even e-mailed the author complaining.
