chose the business you're in?

Because I'm a writer, I write.  But one day long ago my Bill asked
me how I could keep taking the "abuse" of rejection slips again and again.
I told him I thought I'd "die a little" if I didn't keep trying.  I never,
never, never, ever gave up.
