EPUB Archives [Thread Prev][Thread Next][Thread]Re: [epub] autoresponders
FIrst of all - where are you? I'm in the UK, so unless you happen to live here too, I'm not gonna be very helpful with the suggestions. BUT - Have a good look around - don't stick with the first one you find, and hand over the credit card details. The cheapest isn't necessarily the worst - someone I know is on Easynet in the UK, and he seems obsessed with the saying "you get what you pay for!" - it's not always true. He has to pay per minute for internet usage, but if he would listen to me, and move to BT Internet, he could surf every evening and all weekend for free. He seems to think that he will get caught in a big contract, and won't be able to cancel if the service is bad - well he's on yearly contracts at the mo, and my suggestion is monthly.... Listen to other peoples advice....theres a tip... Don't sign up for yearly contracts - the net can change a lot in a year, and I wouldn't want to be tied down to one ISP, cause it's much better to have the option to move. For example, I don't know about wherever you are, but the UK version of AOL took ages to decide whether they were going to support x2 or k56 flex technology. They still had a maximum of 33.6 connection speed for what must have been about 8 months after everyone else changed - now wouldn't you be fed up if your ISP was the slowest around, and you were stuck in a yearly contract? I know I would. There is a magazine here, (but I forget the name) that runs monthly surveys asking people which is the best ISP. If you can find a version of that wherever you are, that will give you a good unbiased view of which is best. Just my 1/80th of a pound :) Ben ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Accurate impartial advice on everything from laptops to table saws. http://click.egroups.com/1/3020/1/_/327135/_/957037318/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Epub is sponsored by http://New-List.com/ Subscribe to New-List: mailto:join-new-list@new-list.com To subscribe to Epub, mailto:epub-subscribe@onelist.com To unsubscribe, mailto:epub-unsubscribe@onelist.com Digest version: mailto:epub-digest@onelist.com Epub archives: http://EzineSeek.com/archives/ [Thread Prev][Thread Next][Thread] Thread Index |
