This does sound a bit much. If I want to add someone to the
list at topica.com, there is an option to add them. One at a time,
or a large group.

Everyone has different needs and likes. I place all my back 
issues on my site now because the issues archived in Topica
mess up the mailto: email links. That bugs me. Other than
that I like Topica.com for my list service.
