Sure, I understand that many people will never open the solo mailing
and that's fine.  In fact, I deliberately use a subject line that makes it
easy for people who read their mail like you do to see what it is:
AHBBO Exclusive Mailing, May 21, 2000.   That way, people who have
absolutely no interest can just delete it.

But many people do open them and read them if my advertisers are
to be believed.  I have several repeat advertisers who run solo mailings
with me because they get a good response.  I only run solo ads that are
of relevance to my demographic and I never run ads that I know to be scams
or that I have reason to believe are deceptive.
