[epub] Handling the admin work & other questions

Hi folks -

Its been a while since I posted. I now have 3 other ezines under the
Homefires Hearth banner - one is a daily devotional by a London
pastor's wife, another a weekly or twice weekly ramblings of an
ordinary Christian homemaker who writes about ordinary events in an
extraordinary way and my newest is a three-time per week garden tip.
These are AThought, Hearthside and Gardenwise, all at Egroups.
AThought is totally done by Ruth and I have nothing to do with it
other than promo and admin work. For Hearthside, I format it and send
it in, in addition to promo and admin work. Gardenwise is entirely my
own baby. None of them do ads or ad swaps at this point.

Anyhow, in addition to that, I own 8 other lists for a total of 12 and
have 4 young children that keep me super-busy. I'm also a Pampered
Chef consultant.

Homefires Hearth has around 3600 subscribers. We've been at that
level, more or less since Feb. I do the weekly issue as normal, but
I'm waaay behind on indexing past issues for our website, I haven't
had time to keep up with ad swaps and I cannot get advertisers lately
even though I've cut back on our ad rates and I'm following up on the
autoresponders.

I know that the zine is still popular from the messages I get, but I'm
frustrated at the lack of growth in the past few months. I'm also
tired of trying for ad swaps and advertising. But I still enjoy
putting my ezine together. I just would like someone to take over the
promo work, ad swaps and finding advertisers.

Does anyone know anything to help me with this? Like adding a
professional to the staff for further growth? I'm making virtually
nothing off my zines (considering what my ISP connection costs, this
is actually a money-losing hobby at this point) so I can't do more
than give them a percentage of ad revenue. This person would also
take over the banner ads on my website which I haven't even looked at
since February or so and as far as I know, I haven't made a dime from.

I'm going away for the weekend (a PC fundraiser out of town), but I'd
still like some response. Anyone?
