[epub] Starting Up -2 new newsletters

Hi All,
I have been lurking for a while observing the discussions of various topics
and hoping to geet more insite into the best method to start up newsletters
I am a real bimbo when it comes to the internet and e-commerce and I need
help on the following:

'Stress Matters' will be a fortnightly  issue dealing with all aspects of
stress.  It will be information packed and initially I will encourage e-mail
postings of problems, a selection of which will be Q/A'd each issue.  It
will also carry postings of my self-help courses and some advertising of
related products (mine and others) Eventually, when I become more adept at
running a newsletter, I will run a Notice Board on my
sitewww.StressMatters.com (at the design stage at the moment). I feel that
this would be preferable to managing an e-group.

So far my dilemmas seem to be 1) whether I should obtain my own software or
freeware (Lyris gets a frequent mention) and do it myself, or subscribe to
list managers such as Topica or e-groups, for simplicity and ease etc.  2)
Whether I should use a notice board for the purpose of letting subscribers
discuss problems and solutions between themselves.  3) Suitable software for
notice board or other posting method.

My second newsletter is 'SizeMatters' and the site is also under
construction under the name of www.SizeMatters.uk.com.  It is the newsletter
for my 20 week course on weight loss or gain approached from the
psychological aspect for those who find losing or gaining weight impossible.

I need to know whether I should sell the course as an e-book or as a weekly
download from my site or via a shopping mall such as Yahoo.  I am based in
the UK.  The newsletter is a 'backup' and support for those interested in
related problems and will also carry Q/A's somehow.  Ideas for the method of
successfully selling the course without losing my copywrite would be
appreciated.
