Hi Audrey- You have a couple of options here. You can either choose to host your newsletter yourself, which is a good option for those that have the resources to pull it off, or you can out source your list, and rely on the expertise of your host company. There are free services, ie-Topica and eGroups that you could use, but you might not get the level of customer service you need, and you will have to put up with the advertising they will put on your list in exchange for their hosting services. There are fee based hosting companies out there that might be just the thing you are looking for. Some fee based companies will provide you with the HTML code to incorporate into your site, which will give you the ability to have your auto subscript line on your site. The companies that I know of off hand that will do this for you are: SparkLIST, Lyris, and Dundee. These 3 companies all use Lyris as a software solution, and are all priced a little differently. If you decide that outsourcing your list is the way to go, you might want to do a little research on fee based hosting companies and pick the one that you feel will offer the best combination of service, cost, and support. You can research these companies by clicking on the following URL: http://www.list-resources.com/s/Management_and_Delivery/Hosting_Providers/Fe e-Based/index.shtml This should give you a start anyway:) Best Regards, Rob Charles Vice President of Sales SparkLIST.com Corporation € ’µ The Business Email List Experts € ’µ --------------------------------------------------------------- SparkLIST Email List Hosting, Promotions & Management Service Tel: +1 888-SparkNET, ext 216 or +1 920-490-5908, ext 216 Fax: +1 920-490.3399 € ’µ http://SparkLIST.com --------------------------------------------------------------- >____________ >Hi All, > >I've really been enjoying this list and have a question I am hoping someone >can answer. > >I do not belong to any "website" lists so I am trying my hand here.
