Sam's Reply;

In those days prior to the Internet, a firm's business card and stationery,
said much about a company. Graphics designers were engaged to put
forth a specific "message" about a firm. Websites now, have been added
to the "mix."

You say that you can't afford to hire someone to put together a website for
you. To which, I reply, you can't afford not to.

We are a "visually oriented" society. Like the special effects in THE
MATRIX.

Do you "websurf?" What happens when you land on a site? You look around
for maybe 20-30 seconds at most. If it's not appealing, you move on.

Look at your own website in the same terms. Does it have eye appeal?
And some content to keep a person around long enough to see a sample
copy of your newsletter and subscribe?

To save money, have a graphics designer set up website templates.
Then you come along and add your specific ad copy.

When it comes to website submission/subscription forms,
it can be a real headache getting a CGI based form to work right.
Took me several days to get a FormMail based input form working.
Perl and CGI coding is a pain. So why use it?

There are a number of java script forms running around for free.
They look very easy to implement and don't require access to a CGI bin.

For starters, try these places.
