It sounds like you have a great newsletter going.

To address your question, one of the best ways to get the word out about 
your newsletter is to make sure that it is registered with all the 
different list directories and list search engines on the web.  They 
categorize these list of lists to make it easy for people to sign up for 
your list.  You can either do this yourself, which can be time consuming, 
but well worth it, or you can out source the work to a company that knows 
where to find all these directories, and can save you a lot of time:)

Another great way to grow your list is to do some strategic ad swapping on 
lists that are similar in content to yours.  This will not cost any money 
if you are trading apples for apples, and it is a great way to grow your 
membership.
