Cantu, you are correct about the laws in the US favoring the
lawyers.  There is, however, one defense that is allowable as I
understand it (I am NOT a lawyer) and that is the truth as a
defense.  True, you may have to have a day in court to prove the
truth of what you say but, if you do your homework, (in other
words paper thy derierre), then you really have nothing to fear.
Truth, however, can be a relative thing and therein lies the
danger.  If you're sure...get a lawyer's advice FIRST...then go
for it.
