Dear everybody.

I am on the digest of this, too, so this may take a while to go through. It
is my last comment on the subject. I would like to thank everyone for your
help. I originally ONLY asked for advice on whether this sort of treatment
was normal when dealing with paid advertisers, as I have never done it
before. I am a newbie in that department and thought I would, and could,
turn to others who may have more knowledge than me. I never intended
beefing, for want of a better word, about anyone but gave my story as an
example, so people could say "yes" or "no" - this is or isn't how it is.
That's all I asked for - nothing else. One person wanted to take that
further so I tried to answer that aspect as well, which has developed into
all out war, apparently.

I am not interested in the legalities of naming anyone, even though I
appreciate that advice, too. The intent never was to name names - just a
generalisation on my own past experience.

For anyone who has been hurt or offended by this, please remember that I
didn't ask for it and am sorry for any trouble that was caused because of my
right to ask a simple (so I thought) question. For those who did help - a
sincere thank you because I appreciate the time and effort.
