Well, I must say that I was surprised and somewhat frustrated. The
eGroups acquisition of ONEList drove us off of there and onto another
list-hosting routine. I don't run my ezine through eGroups, but I do run
some other things (more in the spirit of what eGroups seems to be run at,
community building and informational awareness) with my third major
endeavor, being SGA Executive Vice-President at The University of Alabama
in Huntsville. (No, I don't like sleeping. I do the Web site, too -- if
you want, it's http://sga.uah.edu/ and also VERY under construction.) I'm
worried about what will happen with that, and I'm very glad that I'm moving
to Mailman soon enough for list management.

-sigh- I don't think Yahoo is going to screw up eGroups much -- they try
to maintain the companies' paths that they acquire -- but I'm probably
moving my list off of there. Perhaps it's just because I'm a control
freak, or that I've found something better for the same price (Mailman is
free, but it requires Linux knowledge -- but hey, it's open source and
continually improving and looking for user input), but . . . glad I had my
plans in place, I guess.

Back to Web work. That Web site needs more stuff . . .
