wow.... this IS upsetting.... I was at OneList when it got sucked into
eGroups  (though heaven knows why, since OneList was larger and should have
retained that name, but oh well....).

the part of the TOS that bothers me is paragraph 8c:

    (c) With respect to all other Content you elect to post to other
publicly accessible areas of the Service, you grant Yahoo the royalty-free,
perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive and fully sublicensable right and
license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create
derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such Content (in
whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any
form, media, or technology now known or later developed.
</quote>

If this includes archives of emailed newsletters (which are currently stored
and publicly available a eGroups), this is not a good thing.

Since Two Scoops is switching from a daily to a weekly at the end of this
week,  it's a good time to just take the list in-house completely and
publish with Aureate GroupMail, handling subs/unsubs manually for a while.
