[epub] Email: HTML vs. Text?...

Hi,

This is my first attempt to post here. Hope I'm doing everything correct.

I publish an ezine that I have always published in text with "live" hyperlinks.

However, I am receiving more and MORE emails in HTML. I recently saw one survey
which stated that only about 3% of this particular database used an email
program which did NOT disply HTML emails. I would like to know

a) do you guys think 97% of folks can view HTML emails.
b) Would you publishers consider switching to HTML emails or would you recommend
staying with text email?

I think I also read where Outlook Express is BY FAR the most used email program
today. If that's so, Outlook Express is VERY simple to use in HTML format....
