EPUB Archives [Thread Prev][Thread Next][Thread]Re: [epub] Affiliate programs
My favorite is the 5 Pillar Program which, in my opinion, gives the most information about how to get started. Here's the link: www.sitesell.com/fnp.html I'd recommend the 5 day e-mail courses offered by Sitesell University. I don't remember if he has a minimum or not. But here's an idea. In the beginning I put the minimum required even though I wasn't sure I was actually getting the 100 hits per day minimum. I was of course accepted right away. But...I knew I had my work cut out for me. My site focuses on Auctions and collectibles. So I email invitation letters to bidders of closed auctions of collectibles that I feature on my site. My emails are not blatant advertisement; just friendly invitations like you'd receive from a neighbor to come and inspect my web site and join my mailing list. This gets me the hits that I need. I need to cover about 100 a day - Not everybody goes to my site, and not everybody joins my mailing list...right away. I'm finding that it kind of snowballs. They end up coming back later. It wasn't very long before my stats were above the minimum. If you feel like you're misrepresenting your stats then I'd encourage you to send an email resume of sorts to the Affiliate Program facilitators to see if they'd consider you as you get started. My guess is they'd make the judgement by looking at your site to see how current the information is -- giving them an idea of whether or not you'll place the ad on the page and then abandon the site. After looking at your site - I think you'd have a good chance. I looked at your site and I think you'd be a perfect candidate for the book Make Your Knowledge Sell. This book covers epublishing. Gives you the opportunity to sell your knowledge right off the web. (this also can be found at www.sitesell.com/fnp.html) Contact me if I can help in anyway! If not, check this site out. They're called CarsDirect.com and it's a pretty sweet way to buy a car. http://click.egroups.com/1/6847/2/_/327135/_/964442078/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn a new word every nychthemeron! http://VocabularyMail.com/ To subscribe to Epub, mailto:epub-subscribe@onelist.com To unsubscribe, mailto:epub-unsubscribe@onelist.com Digest version: mailto:epub-digest@onelist.com Epub archives: http://EzineSeek.com/archives/ [Thread Prev][Thread Next][Thread] Thread Index |
