Maybe I didn't explain this well the first time...let me give it
another go: I want to place a mailto: link (one that when clicks
on, opens an email screen, not one that goes to a web page.)
after EACH item (story) in my newsletter, with the heading "Click
here to email this item to your friends, associates and
list-mates". The link will be formatted in such a way so as to
pre-fill the email with the name of my newsletter as the subject
and a link to a web page containing that particular story in the
body. The recipient will be left blank for the reader to fill in.
So, the link looks like this:

mailto:?subject=From%20Medialist%20Newsletter&body=http://www.medialistnewsletter.com/rw-072300.html

Click the link and you will see what I want to do. This link
would enable them to immediately email ONE item from my
newsletter to a discussion list without cutting and pasting and
without forwarding the entire issue to their list. My goal
(perhaps misguided, but still) is to encourage them to forward
the items to a list of "many" instead of the standard "forward
this newsletter to your friends", as, I believe, this will net me
more "branding" and, hence, more subscribers. Here's the problem:
As you can see, the link above is far too long for a newsletter.
Maximize this email screen and you'll see the scroll bar at the
bottom, caused by the link. Here's my question. Is there anyway
to force it to wrap, but still operate as a link? Hope you get
what I mean.
