So far I've resisted the temptation to contribute to this
discussion ,but that comment really takes the biscuit.

In whose opinion are these editors not doing it right? I didn't
realise you were an expert on the subject.

Unless I'm mistaken , you've sent your articles out as
unsolicited emails (which incidentally some people would consider
to be spam) and you're complaining because people haven't replied
to say "thank you for your unsolicited email ".

If I replied to every unsolicited email I got I'd never have time
to sleep!
