[epub] Re: Article Submission
Hey gang;

I too have to post on this thread, though I lurk mostly due to
time restraints.

I have to agree with Paul, in the past I tried to respond to
every article I would receive. However time no longer allows me
to do so, plus as mentioned more and more articles are coming via
lists with no personal touch. I personally enjoy getting the
articles and do read many of them, depending upon the content and
how well written.

Since each publisher dictates and owns their publication, then
there are no "Standards" per se to base whats right or wrong,
proper or not proper. This of course depends upon the publisher
and how he conducts his business. We as writers would do well to
"adapt" to each publisher's own set of standards since they can
vary.

Even though my current publications target IT techs and those
seeking certification in various fields, I receive many articles
related to the marketing and promotion area from my previous
endeavors with PROMOTE! Newsletter. I don't want to stop
receiving these articles since we will be starting up a new
publication for marketing in the near future and could use them
at that time. However time still does not allow me to write back
to everyone as I would like.

My personal experience is good quality article in a few select
and well read ezines, will pull much more response than a thrown
together article printed in many thrown together newsletters.

Just my 2 cents;
:-)
