On Sunday afternoon, in checking our error log my web
mistress, S Cerce discovered someone was trying to
hack our stats scrip (we use a non-cookie based script

service).

She found information on how the stats script could be
password protected and activated it - not realising
that the procedure actually made the entire site
password protected. Lasted from Sunday afternoon to
Monday afternoon.

It has been changed, the script has been revised for
increased security, and my apologies to any who might
have had time wasted in attempting to visit web site
after reading one of my posts.
