[epub] Pegasus users / Eudora users

I have heard that some ezine publishers are having great success using
Pegasus to set up their mailing lists.

I have just begun playing with it as a back-up to Group-Mail (which
inadvertently "hiccupped" yesterday and delivered THREE copies of Two Scoops
to a portion of the list, in spite of my direction to exclude those who
already received it!)

I am fascinated at the un-tapped power of Pegasus in filtering and handling
autoresponses.  I am also becoming disappointed in Group-Mail's "Subscriber"
plug in --  if a person has already sent a message to subscribe, and then
later sends a message to Leave, it doesn't respond to the person OR delete
the person from the list -- it says "response already sent", apparently
viewing only the address previously answered and not the action currently
requested.    Thus, the Group-Mail's "Subscriber" plug-in has to be manually
checked.  Bummer.

So, to any Pegasus users, have you any tips for setting up
subscribe/unsubscribe autoresponses, filters, etc.?  Have you purchased the
available manual?  If so, is the information more extensive or more helpful
than the onboard Help files?   Is there a limit to how many entries a
mailing list can have?  (Eudora suggests 2,500 as a limit.)

Also...can anyone make a comparison between sending a mailing list from
Pegasus versus Eudora?
