I have just got Pegasus to start up my new list.

At the moment, I am still learning about the program. I get subscribers to
subscribe with blank emails with "Subscribe" in the subject line and
"Unsubscribe" to unsubscribe.  There is a facility to automatically add the
sender of a post to your 'Mailing List" by right clicking on any email you
receive.  You have to create a list by hitting F6 or Addresses > Mailing lists.

 I am handling my list manually as I don't think that there's a function for
auto-responses. I am using Pegasus until my list gets to big to manage in this
way.
It is a good program and there is a help facility.  However, I have  purchased
the manual as I find I can study program functions away from the computer
screen.  With the manual I was sent a floppy disc with an upgraded version of
Pegasus.

Is there a limit to how many entries a
> mailing list can have?  (Eudora suggests 2,500 as a limit.)

There is no mention a limit to the size of lists. However, a large list will
take longer to send..
