I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about eBook
publishing since I have been specializing in this area lately.  I haven't
personally published fee-based eBooks but I have built up a growing
resource directory on the subject since it is a huge interest of mine.
I have several sites on the topic!  I have recently re-designed my

which may be a place to get started finding the resources you need.

If you self-publish, your profit margin is large for marketing or business
eBooks since they command higher prices (range from $5-$100+)
than fiction eBooks.  Since you don't have the printing costs... they
are definitely cheaper to publish.  The demand is there and growing
which I can definitely prove with my stats for my eBooks N' Bytes
site as well as my emails with various ePublishers.

Royalty-paying non-subsidy ePublishers pay royalties as high as
70% -- I have listed several that are accepting submissions
at http://www.ebooksnbytes.com/epub_list.html
