I have not personally experienced this problem as after researching list and
newsletter possibilities I went through topica, whom I am very pleased with.
I also was apprehensive about signing on with e groups because of some
problems such as you describe that have happened with others. It seems to me
the list owners are being held responsible for the actions of others in the
group, which, of course, as we all know, the owner has little control over.
There seems to be little room for discussion from what I am hearing within
the last few months regarding e groups.

I personally feel that it would be appropriate for you to enlist the help of
others, even it is simply an e mail addressed to them from others
complaining about this policy of theirs. It presents a particular problem
when lists are kept through their service often, rather than though the
owners themselves. I simply think their policy is unfair, and that there
should certainly be room for discussion or at least explanation before they
shut you down completely. This isn't happening evidently.

I have found the information you provide through writings and books to be
very useful and would hate it that your lists are being restricted. You've
provided useful information through the newsletter I distribute, electronic
marketplace. The point is that this sort of thing through e groups is
happening to others who are providing useful information and all it takes is
one person to bring it to an abrupt end it seems. I don't know what I can do
to help, but if there is anything, please let me know.
