I have had that problem to. I was the owner of The WebSite.
People from themail, yohoo and usa .com joined TheWebSite
with all kinds of email addresses and I kept deleting them and
they kept coming I could not keep up with the email address.
I did not have this problem until onelist merged with yohoo.

Egroups deleted TheWebSite and I could not moderate my
other egroups list. I just decided to get another password.
I said that I lost my password and I was able to get another
password with the same email address that I joined with
and now I can moderate my other egroups. Just click on
the link that says lost password.
